Prophetic Revival Service by Rev Ankia van der Merwe from May 16 to 21, 2016
“that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that He might present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. ~ Eph 5:26 & 27
Tamim Ministries was founded by Hannes and Ankia van der Merwe in 2008. The word Tamim means to be without blemish, upright, sincere, healthy , blameless and whole. In 2009 both Hannes and Ankia were ordained as pastors and since ministered in various countries. On 17 January 2013 they were ordained as Apostles by Reconciliation Ministries International.
The vision of the ministry is to teach and equip God’s people with His Word in order for them to walk in authority according to God’s plan for their lives. They believe that through the complete work of Jesus Christ on the cross God’s people are Tamim.
As a ministry they focus on:
- letting the Holy Spirit use them to lead people to Jesus Christ as their Savior;
- helping people to read and understand who they are in Christ, by becoming what the Word says they are;
- teaching people on the basic principles of the Word; and
- encouraging people to do what God called them to do.
During the past 5 years Tamim Ministries had five prophetic schools, and various small groups where they ministered at. They held 18 women’s conferences and 3 men’s conferences through South Africa.
During the last 5 years they ministered in various areas, focusing on leading people to the Lord, Jesus Christ, distributing Bibles and praying for the sick. In 2010 they visited Zimbabwe where they ministered to 150 pastors and church leaders; this was followed up during July 2011 as they’ve been invited to revisit Zimbabwe and also Malawi and Zambia. During October 2011 they ministered at the National Conference in Malawi and became the spiritual leaders of the Apostolic Faith Movement of Malawi. Currently they are overseeing 18 churches and is facilitating a bible school.
